We collect your email address and name to deliver your requested research reports, manage your account ("Analyst Profile"), and—if you subscribe—process payments. For list-building (e.g. free swipe file signup), we collect email to send the requested content and the automated email sequence you opted into. We do not sell your data to third-party data brokers.
We use Clerk for authentication, Resend for email delivery, Stripe for payment processing, and Supabase for secure database storage. Content generation may use other providers (e.g. AI and document conversion). Each processes data according to their own privacy policies. Your data is never sold to third-party data brokers.
By opting in (e.g. downloading the swipe file or signing up), you consent to receive the requested materials and, where applicable, daily manufacturing insights and marketing emails. You can revoke consent at any time via the "Unsubscribe" link in any email.
We use essential cookies only (e.g. to keep you signed in and remember preferences). We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. A cookie consent notice may be shown on first visit; you can accept or read our full policy here. We do not sell data collected via cookies.
We retain account and subscription data while your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, or fraud purposes. Email list data is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
Self-serve: If you have an account, you can download a copy of your data (data portability) and permanently delete your account (right to erasure) at any time from the Account page. Deletion removes your profile, lead magnet packs, and unsubscribes your email from our list; we will confirm when done.
You may also request access, correction, or deletion by contacting our support at chris@reports.magnetfactory.app. We will process valid requests within a reasonable period. You may withdraw consent for marketing emails via the unsubscribe link in any email without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
If you are in the European Economic Area, UK, or another jurisdiction that grants these rights, you may have the right to: access your data; rectify inaccurate data; erase your data ("right to be forgotten"); restrict or object to certain processing; data portability; and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, use the Account page or contact our support at chris@reports.magnetfactory.app. Our legal basis for processing is your consent (e.g. for marketing emails) and performance of our contract with you (e.g. account and subscription management).
Our services and service providers (including in the United States) may process your data outside your country. Where required by law, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for such transfers.
